The Hertfordshire College of Agriculture and Horticulture was founded in 1921 as the Hertfordshire County Council Agricultural Institute. It provided full and part-time courses in agriculture for home and overseas students.
The collection consists of dairying equipment for processing milk and making cheese used at the college in St. Albans.
