Born in Swindon, Peter Waldron attended Swindon School of Art and Chelsea School of Art before being awarded a Painting Fellowship at Gloucestershire College of Art. Waldron was a visiting lecturer at Reading School of Art in the 1970s.
His work was influenced by abstract expressionism, the Victorian Arts and Crafts movement, Japanese culture and his travels to the Greek islands, establishing one of his studios in Crete.
The University of Reading Art Collection holds one diptych by Peter Waldron.
